Quality Awards

In 2004 and 2005 OJSC KAMAZ competed for the RF Government’s Quality Award. According to the results of the competition, in 2004 OJSC KAMAZ was highly assessed by the Council for the Quality Awards of the Government of the Russian Federation and given the title “The Diploma Winner of the Competition for the Quality Award of the RF Government 2004”, and in 2005 OJSC KAMAZ became the Laureate of the RF Government’s Quality Award.

Held since 1997, the competition names the best companies from the point of view of their ability to put out high quality, competitive products or render services and, on the whole, manage the company. The estimation criteria of the competition follow the pattern of the prestigious European Quality Award and offer the Russian organizations a modern instrument for purposeful development and competitive recovery. OJSC KAMAZ became the first laureate of this prestigious competition among the Russian auto assembly companies. This is our company’s great success confirming OJSC KAMAZ’s image as one of the leaders producing high quality automotive equipment in Russia.

In 2007 OJSC KAMAZ participated in the Russian Quality Assembly and became the laureate of “The Gold Certificate of Quality”.

The Russian Quality Assembly acknowledged conformity of OJSC KAMAZ’s production with the world quality standards. The members of the organizational committee of the Russian Quality Assembly were the representatives of the Center for Marketing and Management (Geneva), the International Market Research Center, and also the English and Swiss specialists in the sphere of certification.

The founder of the award is the Swiss company Centre for Marketing and Management (CMM) which has been developing the sphere of quality for a long time. One of the results of CMM’s activity is the Global Quality Promotion Program. The program uses the world experience in order to create a uniform general standard the principles of which are stated in the declaration of the Global Quality Promotion Program.

The “gold” certificate is given to the enterprise sticking to the principles stated in the quality declaration. Its signing is an obligation to secure, maintain and improve the quality level which will strengthen the image and reputation of the enterprise not only in Russia, but also abroad.

OJSC KAMAZ officially acquired a right to use the logo of the Global Quality Promotion Program with its marketing purposes.
