Stronghold of Small- and Medium-Scale Businesses
On 1 July in Naberezhnye Chelny the third line of Industrial Park Master was opened with the participation of Elvira Nabiullina, Russia’s Minister of Economic Development and Trade and Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
IP Master is a stable infrastructure giving a chance to start and develop a business activity under all economic conditions and effectively pursuing the public policy in the sphere of small- and medium-scale entrepreneurship.
The loss of the first word “Kama” with a “regional” meaning in the name of the enterprise (Kama Industrial Park Master) means that IP Master has acquired importance on the All-Russian level. As of July 1, 2010, 137 enterprises with diverse activities – from mechanical engineering to the sphere of services – are the members of Industrial Park. The total turnover of these enterprises for 5 months of 2010 formed 2 billion 228 million roubles. To date 1620 people work at these enterprises.
Today projects for production of brake blocks, hubs and lighting equipment for KAMAZ vehicles are implemented; accumulators are charged and delivered to the conveyor; electronic devices and metal-cutting tools are produced on the territory of Industrial Park Master. There is also a glass factory, building organizations, KAMAZ’s supplier’s consignment warehouse and a furniture factory there.
In addition to the available areas, IP Master will have over 9600 square meters of office areas and 800 office work places, and also more than 88000 square meters of working areas where facilities of 100 new small- and medium-scale businesses will be located and over 1500 new jobs will be created. IP Master will as before support the tenants’ business projects over the whole time of their stay in Industrial Park starting from constituent documents preparation, and provide with comprehensive business planning, including marketing research and search of external financing sources. IP Master will help to attract orders for additional workload of production capacities, secure informational support and resources for implementation of new technologies, and render other services.

KAMAZ Summed Up June Results
The production units of KAMAZ’s single production string, including mother vehicle and engine assembly conveyors, completed execution of the plan for June.
For the present June is considered to be the best month of 2010 by production volumes and work paces of the main production units. For 21 working days the automobile plant made 3500 vehicle sets (last June they manufactured 1719 units), including 3113 trucks. During the first half-year 15964 vehicle sets were produced in all (last year 10757 units were made) which exceeds performance provided for by the business plan more than by 500 units.
KAMAZ-Diesel manufactured 4134 engines and power units and supplied its consumers with them (last year it produced 1779 units). Output of the main production of the plant from the beginning of the year formed 19.5 thousand units (last year it made 13.36 thousand units).
Last month’s achievement in production and shipment of spare parts was once more exceeded. Dealers, brand automobile centers, service centers and corporative users will receive such products made in June to the tune of over 900 million roubles. From the beginning of the year spare parts of more than 4.5 billion roubles will be shipped (last year spare parts of 3.6 billion roubles were shipped).
This July will become even more intense for KAMAZ production. It is necessary to make a backlog of marketable products: in August the company’s personnel will be placed on paid leave.
