KAMAZ (part of Rostec State Corporation) has summed up the year-end results in the field of invention and innovation.

According to the bureau of patent-licensing and innovatory work of the company's R&D Center, ten patents for inventions were received in 2016, including three EA, 44 useful model patents, one design patent. One computer program was recorded as a copyright object. 11 certificates of trademarks were registered in Russia and abroad.

Most of the authors are employees of KAMAZ PTC's development unit, foundry and forge workers received by one invention patent. Innovators of the forge plant also received four utility model patents and certificates for the computer program.

In addition, KAMAZ sent eight applications for inventions to the country's chief patent agency last year, 60 for useful models, three for industrial design, and one for the computer program. The company also sent five applications for trademark registration in the Russian Federation, a number of patents for registration of trademarks abroad.

Thus, protection of intellectual property remains one of the priorities at KAMAZ.
