21 February 2017

The zonal meeting "Vocational Guidance for Students - Today's Demands" has passed at Tuimazinskiy Zavod Avtobetonovozov, a subsidiary of KAMAZ in Bashkiria.

The event with the participation of Vilsor Khaliullin, General Director of TZA, his deputies, representatives of universities and the administration of Tuimazy Region was dedicated to the issues of vocational guidance of the younger generation and was organized on the initiative of TZA and Tuimazy's Youth Policy Branch.

Elina Krasilnikova, HR Director of TZA, told about the activity of the plant and its benefits. She noted a lack of skilled workers and an aging industrial and engineering staff, although young professionals receive wages of more than 20 thousand rubles at the plant. "We are faced with the problem of generational change. The average age of production workers is growing. Applicants are often looking for new opportunities in larger cities, unaware of the fact that they can get a good education and a guaranteed job with decent pay and prospects in close vicinity," she said. "I think that you can influence the situation. We are opening our doors for tours and meetings so that pupils, students, parents, partners could see what power the factory has in their hometown and republic."

In addition, during the event, Andrey Zotov, Deputy General Director of TZA for Production, conducted a tour of the shops of the basic manufacture shops for the participants. The guests were impressed by big potential the enterprise has to produce not only specialized concrete carriers, but also fire trucks, trailers and agricultural equipment.

As a result, TZA and the participants of the meeting signed a cooperation agreement under which the activities will be organized at the region to implement career guidance initiatives and enhance the prestige of working professions.
