The first KAMAZ-54901 truck tractor with localized components was shipped to the owner in Belarus.
The new version of the tractor has improved technical characteristics. The vehicle is equipped with updated cooling, exhaust gas aftertreatment, electrical systems, on-board information system. The vehicle boasts smoother ride and lower fuel consumption now.
KAMAZ vehicles are sold to Belarus by the company’s authorized dealer ODO VTK KAMAZavto.
In 2022, the company was mainly focused on the development and production of sanctions-resistant versions of vehicles. Large-scale work on import phase-out and localization of components has been carried out. As a result, in February 2023, KAMAZ launched the production of a sanctions-resistant version of the 54901 truck with improved characteristics.

KAMAZ and other enterprises are successfully implementing projects to develop a product line, produce vehicles for the needs of the country, contributing to the strengthening of technological sovereignty and the achievement of other relevant national goals. The launch of the production of the KAMAZ-54901 truck on a new sanctions-resistant component base with improved characteristics can be considered one of the most illustrative examples of the company's work in import substitution. Only for this model, KAMAZ specialists had to master more than two thousand items.
