Head of KAMAZ Receives State Award of the RF

By Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Director General of KAMAZ PTC Sergey Kogogin was awarded the Order of Honour for a great contribution to the development of engineering and many years of conscientious work. 

The award ceremony has taken place in Nizhny Novgorod today, on June 8. The Order of Honour was handed to Sergey Kogogin by Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich.  

In his answer, the head of the auto giant emphasized that the high state awards had been given to KAMAZ - Russia's leading truck maker. "Such moments inspire optimism and prove that we've chosen the right path," noted Sergey Kogogin. "We'll continue developing our new line-up and supply Russian regions with state-of-the-art reliable vehicles." He also expressed confidence that the company striving for innovations and applying advanced technologies will help Russia strengthen its vehicle fleet and power.  

In addition, the company's four employees also contributed to the development of Russia's engineering, as stated in the same Decree. The title Honoured Machine Builder of the RF is conferred to Ravil Mukhamadullin, miller of the foundry, Albert Fatykhov, maintenance fitter of the engine plant, Algas Khayriev, construction metal worker of the automobile plant, and Fadis Shakirov, auto body repair technician of the press and stamping plant.
